Dear Mr. President, On behalf of the Lithuanian people and on my own behalf, I would like to congratulate you on the occasion of Bulgaria's Independence Day. I send my best wishes for your continued health and happiness, as well as for the well-being and prosperity of all the people of Bulgaria.
 
Dear Mr. Secretary General, On behalf of the Lithuanian people and on my own behalf, I would like to sincerely thank you for your leadership of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and for your consistent and determined commitment to fully ensure the security of Lithuania and all NATO member states. This past April, Lithuania celebrated ten years of its membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Because of their historical experience, Lithuanians are well aware of the possible threats to our global security and peace, Therefore, we greatly appreciate your decisive role in adopting decisions that have made the people of our country and the whole region feel more secure.
