2009-09-20 Concert cycle “Autumn in the Presidential Palace 2009” launched

This autumn, the Presidential Palace is hosting a series of open-air events for the residents and guests of Vilnius. On Sunday, more than half a thousand music lovers were invited to the opening concert in the series “Autumn in the Presidential Palace 2009”. The inner courtyard became a stage for vocal music performed by the Liepaitės Girls Choir and the Vilnius University Women Choir Virgo.

2009-09-12 Residents and guests of Vilnius watched children painting in Presidential Courtyard

A plein air painting session was held by the Vilnius Art School for Children and Youth (Director Jūratė Stauskaitė) in the Presidential Courtyard this past Saturday. The residents and guests of Vilnius had the opportunity not only to watch about twenty children painting in the open air, but also to get an inside view of the historic courtyard.

2009-09-09 Days of Open Spaces at the Presidential Palace

This autumn, the Presidential Palace will host a series of open-air events for the residents and guests of Vilnius. On September 12 from 13.00 to 15.00 hours, en plein air for students of the Vilnius Art School for Children and Youth will take place in the Presidential Courtyard. We invite all those who wish to visit the inner courtyard and participate in the children’s painting process to attend. The paintings will be displayed in the courtyard on September 20.
